Política de privacidad
Última actualización: 28 de septiembre de 2026
Por ahora, esta página solo está disponible en inglés. La versión en inglés es la que tiene validez.
This Privacy Policy explains how Qalix Technologies ("Qalix", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit qalixtech.com (the "Site") or get in touch with us. It applies to the Site only. Work we do for clients is covered by the agreement we sign with each client.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above, and the new version takes effect when it is posted. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will make reasonable efforts to let you know.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you send an enquiry through the Site, we collect the details you enter:
- your first and last name, email address and company name;
- your country;
- a description of your challenge or goal, and anything else you choose to tell us;
- whether you would like to receive occasional updates from us.
If you email or call us directly, we collect the information contained in that correspondence.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the servers that host the Site keep standard technical logs. These can include your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you requested and the date and time of each request. We use these logs to keep the Site running, secure and free of abuse.
How and why we use information
- to reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible engagement, including preparing proposals and estimates;
- to send you updates, insights or resources, only if you asked to receive them;
- to operate, secure and improve the Site, including preventing spam and misuse of our contact form;
- to meet our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making.
Cookies
The Site currently uses only what is strictly necessary for it to work, and does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our Cookie Policy explains this in detail and what we would do before introducing anything more.
Analytics and third-party services
To run the Site we rely on a small number of third-party providers, which may process limited technical data (such as your IP address) when your browser loads their content:
- our hosting provider, which serves the Site and keeps the server logs described above;
- our email provider (Hostinger), which delivers the enquiries you send us to our inbox;
- Unsplash, which serves some of the photography on the Site.
We do not currently use analytics or advertising tools. If we introduce them, we will update this policy and our Cookie Policy and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
Social media
The Site links to our LinkedIn page. If you follow that link, LinkedIn's own privacy policy applies to anything you do there. We do not offer social log-in and we do not embed social media tracking on the Site.
Communications from us
If you send an enquiry, we will email you about it. If you ticked the box to receive updates, we may occasionally send you news, resources or useful tips. We keep these infrequent and relevant.
Opting out
You can stop receiving updates at any time by replying to any update email or writing to info@qalixtech.com. We may still send you messages directly related to an enquiry or engagement you have with us.
How long we keep information
We keep enquiry information for as long as we need it to respond to you and to follow up on a possible engagement, and after that only for as long as required for legitimate business, legal or accounting purposes. If you become a client, your information is also handled under our agreement with you.
Information security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Site, restricted access to enquiries and reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Security incidents
If we become aware of a security incident that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities where and as required by applicable law.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to or restrict how we use it, receive a copy of it and withdraw any consent you have given. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have these rights under the GDPR, and California residents have similar rights under the CCPA. To exercise any of them, email info@qalixtech.com. We will respond within the time required by law and will not treat you differently for doing so. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Links to other sites
The Site may link to websites we do not operate. This policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
International visitors
Qalix is headquartered in the United States and delivers work from our centre in Lahore, Pakistan, and our service providers may operate in other countries. Your information may therefore be processed outside your home country. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us their information, please contact us and we will delete it.
